Glenda Carroll Tucker (Barger), 76, of Caddo Mills passed away on October 28, 2022. She was born on April 11, 1946 in Teague, TX to Edgar & Nettie Barger.
Glenda liked sitting at her window, watching the hummingbirds in their feeders. She loved collecting angels and traveling. Glenda was a very hard worker who own her own company as an accountant for over 48 years. She was a member of Paradise Baptist Church in Caddo Mills.
Glenda was known as “Mema” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved them all very much.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Thomas and husband Ricky of Denison; “Louisiana daughter”, Glynnda Perkins and husband Ronald “Jr.” of Shreveport; grandchildren: Khrysten Thomas, Phillip Thomas; great-grandchildren: Emylee, Luke & Kolton Thomas; brother, Leslie Barger; sister, Wynema Hamilton, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and a host of friends.
Glenda was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Nettie Barger; husband, Sam Tucker; son, Billy Ray Woods-Tucker; 4 brothers; and 1 sister.
There will be a graveside service at 2:00 pm on Friday, November 4, 2022 at IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills.
