With extreme sadness, the family announces the untimely passing of Landon Morgan Baxley, a beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend, on July 3, 2023. His departure leaves an immense void in the lives of all who knew and loved him.

Landon Morgan Baxley entered this world on February 8, 2006, in Greenville, Texas, as the child of Chad Sipe and Emily Baxley. During his childhood, Landon exhibited incredible intelligence, earning him multiple awards for honor roll in school.  In addition to his academic awards, Landon also earned the very fitting title of “Class Clown” due to his ability to make his classmates and teachers laugh. Landon’s thirst of knowledge and trying new things led him to many passions and hobbies that also prepared him for future ventures and jobs.

Landon loved to be outdoors. Landon enjoyed fishing and often carried his fishing pole with him wherever he ventured. Landon also enjoyed hunting with his Uncle Sonny, riding BMX at the skatepark, scooters, four-wheeling, hanging out with his siblings and cousins, welding, and his new job as a plumbing apprentice.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Emily Woolf of Malakoff; his father, Chad Sipe and Liz Sipe of Powderly; his step-father, Danny Woolf of Wills Point; his grandmother, Ella Baxley of Wills Point; his siblings, Addison Baxley and Bentley Woolf, Chloe and Eli Sipe, and Ryan Gridley, Dylan Gridley, and McKenna Gridley; his uncle, Sonny Baxley, and wife Jessica Baxley of Greenville; as well as numerous cousins and extended family members. Landon is preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Baxley and grandfather Tommy Willis.

The celebration of Landon Morgan Baxley’s life will take place on Monday, July 10, 2023, at 11 a.m. The memorial service will be held at Lynch Funeral Home, located at 4238 TX-34 South, Greenville, Texas 75402. During this solemn gathering, family, friends, and all whose lives he touched will come together to honor Landon’s memory.
