Mary Alice Griffin, 84, of Greenville, Texas, passed away November 10, 2023, at Medical City of Plano. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Jordan and Dr. James Ralson officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Mary was born June 24, 1939, in Chicota, Texas to Earl and Ethel Porter Allen. She married Gary L. Griffin on July 4, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. She was a homemaker and an active member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Griffin of Greenville; children, Lee Griffin and wife, Wendee of Rockwall, Steven Griffin and wife, Amy of Rowlett, Stacey Griffin of Winfield, Kansas; brothers, Thomas Allen and wife, Faye of Watauga, Rayburn Allen of Hugo, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Dakota Griffin of Greenville, Sage Griffin and wife, Jordan of Milbank, South Dakota, Tyler Griffin of Rowlett, Carson Griffin of Rowlett, Autumn Skye Griffin of Rockwall and great-granddaughter, Emryn Knox Griffin.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Rhemus Allen.
