Britton Edward Teel, 84, of Dallas, formerly of Commerce, passed away at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas on November 21, 2023 with his family by his side. He was born in Commerce on May 16, 1939 to Annie Mary Cook and Britton Harvey Teel.
Britton is survived by his daughter Brenda Teel and 2 sons: Eddie Teel and Randy Teel; grandchildren: Tammy Teel Wood, Kyle Teel, Jessie Teel, Ashley Teel, Danny Teel and Tyler Teel; great-grandchildren: Madelyn Wood, Blake Teel, and Kaden Teel. He is also survived by his sisters: June Macintosh and Jane Parker; brothers: Denzel Teel, Emery Teel, Douglas Teel, Harvey Teel, and Ronnie Dennis.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 24, 2023 from 12:30 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Jones-Walker & Son Funeral Home with a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Corey Wood, Jessie Teel, Danny Teel, Kyle Teel, Tyler Teel and Blake Teel.
