Wanda Elaine Fouse, age 65, of Quinlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, November 23, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at 12:00p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gabe Ybarra, Jake Henderson, Ernest Upchurch, Sonny Upchurch, Gabriel Guzman, Stan Chaney, and Dennis Holdbrook.
Wanda Fouse was born on September 4, 1958, at the Royal Air Force Base in Peterborough, England to Donald Kenneth Russell and Pauline Ann Daniels Russell. Wanda was from a military family and traveled and lived all over the world. She graduated from McKinney High School. Wanda married the love of her life, Dru Fouse at Chisholm Baptist Church in Rockwall on November 27, 1982. She was an office manager and bookkeeper. She also worked for Quinlan ISD as a substitute and ISS teacher for 10 years. Wanda enjoyed gardening in her beautiful flower beds, and listening to classic country and Motown music. She enjoyed genealogical research and learning about her family’s history, as well as crafting, wreath-making, and designing homecoming mums. Her favorite candy was Milk Duds and she always had some to share. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she took great pleasure in spoiling them every chance. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Stephen Paul Daniell Russell on May 7, 1992, and her sister, Joan Marie Johnson on May 26, 2022.
She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her devoted husband of 41 years, Dru Fouse of Quinlan; Son, Dallas Aaron Fouse and wife Breanna of Quinlan; Daughter, Dawn Nicole Guzman, and husband Gabriel of Greenville. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Celia (CeCee) Elaine Guzman of Greenville, Kevin Ray Fouse, and Kathryn Bre’Ann Fouse of Quinlan.
