Nancy Roberts McGowan, 62, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2024 in Quinlan, Texas. She was born October 21, 1961, in Live Oak, Florida to the late Grace and Loyce Quitman Roberts.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. She was a dedicated nurse who truly enjoyed helping people. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Mike McGowan, and her brothers: Leroy and Loyce (Tarzan) Roberts.
She is survived by her two sons: Thomas (Lisa Rogers) Hall of Ellisville, Mississippi and Joshua (Christa) Holly of Quinlan, Texas; two sisters: Frances (Tommy) Chastain of Perry, Florida and Irma (Randy) Mann of Jasper, Florida; one brother, Glen (Lisa) Roberts of Bessemer City, North Carolina; and grandchildren: Kaytie Hall, Kylie Hall, Riley Holly, Caleb Holly, and Christian Holly.
The family will host a memorial service at O’Brien Baptist Church in O’Brien, Florida, on Saturday, April 20, 2024, starting at 12:00pm followed by a committall inurnment service at O’Brien Cemetery.
