Ann Levan, 86, of West Tawakoni, Texas, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2024, from natural causes. Born in Clay County, West Virginia, on July 1, 1937, Ann was a cherished member of her community.

Ann graduated from Clay High School in 1955. She began her career as a keypunch operator for General Tire in Akron, Ohio. Later, she pursued her passion for beauty and became a hairdresser, eventually founding her own business, A Plus Electrolysis, where she provided electrolysis services to many satisfied clients.

Ann’s life was full of love and devotion to her Christian faith. She was predeceased by her husbands Kenneth Levan and Dorles Woods. She is survived by her beloved son, Ben Levan, and his wife, Stephanie. She was a proud grandmother to Julia and Dawson Levan. Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Strossie Dawson, as well as her siblings David Dawson (Shirley) and Charles and Rebecca Dawson who died at birth. She is also survived by her siblings Glen Dawson (Phyllis), Loretta Biglin (Bob), Louetta Hollister (Jim), Phillip Dawson (Patti), Delbert Dawson (Doris), and Roberta Thompson (Terry).

Ann attended Northshore Gospel church and was actively involved in various community activities, including prison ministries. She was known for her engaging personality, her dedication to helping people grow in their faith, and her constant prayers for those in need. Her legacy of faith and kindness left a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Ann was blessed with many close friends who were like family to her. Her warmth, generosity, and unwavering faith will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
