Carolyn Ann (Gay) Lindsey, 68, of Greenville, Texas passed into the presence of her Savior peacefully on July 11, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born on September 6, 1955 to J. D., Jr. and Ollie Marie (Temple) Gay in Greenville, Texas.
Carolyn lived a well-rounded life.
She was a Christian woman of the Methodist Faith. She worked for and retired from L-3. She enjoyed going to garage sales and finding that special deal. She loved spending time with her beloved family and darling dog pets, Emma and Shawn.
Carolyn leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Billy Lindsey; son Jason Lindsey; daughter, Laura (Lindsey) Canan and husband Steven; brother, Andrew Lafavers; along with a host of loving extended family and friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Randy Gay; and grandparents, J.D. Gay, Sr., and Grace Lafavers Gay.
A visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas. A funeral will also be held at 10:30 am on Monday, July 15, 2024, in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas. Interment will follow at Simmons Cemetery in Greenville, Texas.
