Douglas Alfonzo Taylor, 77, of Campbell, passed away on September 21, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, October 6, 2024, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with nephew, Baret Sanders officiating.
Douglas was born May 21, 1947, in Dierks, Arkansas, to Odes Taylor and Vena Jones. He married Freda McDonald on March 16, 1986, in Campbell, Texas. Over the years before he retired, he worked as a Barber and a Truck Driver.
He is survived by his wife, Freda; sons, Gary Don Taylor and wife, Loretta, Glenn Taylor and wife, Cyndi, Jessie Branch and wife, Ginny, and Jeff Branch and wife, Cindy; daughter, Shayla Harrison; sister, Deborah Sanders and husband, Ricky; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Taylor; parents, Odes and Vena Taylor; and sister, Shirley Sloan.
