Bertram Glenn Holcomb, 89, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 24, 2024. Born on October 27, 1935, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Glenn was one of eight children. He proudly served in the United States Navy for seven years and was married to the late Margie Pearl Holcomb for 58 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, faith, and devotion to family.
Glenn is survived by his daughters, Linda James and Margie May Morrison, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins who will cherish his memory.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Margie Pearl Holcomb; his children, Larry Holcomb, Steven Holcomb, Tina Toole, and Ronda Burns; his parents, Robert Fulton Holcomb and Floney May Steelman-Holcomb; and his 4 sisters and 3 brothers. Their memories will live on in the hearts of the family.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Glenn enjoyed camping, fishing, and taking road trips. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and could often be found talking on his CB radio, connecting with friends near and far. Above all, Glenn’s greatest joy was spending time with his family, and his love and devotion to them were unwavering.
Glenn’s memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
