Christopher Brian Young, a devoted husband, loving father, and cherished friend, was born on July 15, 1976, in Garland, Texas. After a life filled with unwavering faith and an infectious sense of humor, Christopher left this world on January 28, 2025, in Dallas, Texas, leaving a legacy of kindness, determination, and selflessness.

Christopher’s professional journey began in retail management, where he dedicated many years to helping others thrive and achieve their career aspirations. His selfless nature shone through in every interaction, exemplifying his deep desire to support his colleagues and make a positive impact in their lives. His strong work ethic and commitment to integrity earned him the respect and admiration of those fortunate enough to know him.

Education played an important role in Christopher’s journey as he attended South Garland High School, where the foundation for his character, humor, and compassionate spirit began to take shape. He was a true family man at heart, who prioritized his loved ones above all else, building memories and joy around them. Christopher had a strong sense of family and faith that guided him through life. His spirit of service was evident in his multiple mission trips to Africa, where he shared his love for God and demonstrated his commitment to helping others.

Christopher cherished every moment spent with his wife, Leslie Young, and his five sons and daughter-in-law, Brian and Katy Young, Bradley Young, Tucker Young, Matt Young, and Grant Young.  His affectionate relationships with his family were a testament to his character, and he delighted in his roles as a husband, father, and grandfather. His granddaughter, Reagan Young, and grandson, Henry Young, brought immeasurable joy to his life, and he took pride in being a guiding presence in their worlds.

In addition to his immediate family, Christopher is survived by his beloved siblings, Mike Young and Kimberly Young Stark, along with loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, and close friends, all of whom hold fond memories of the laughter and warmth he brought into their lives.

He is preceded in death by two grandfathers, John Ingram and Henry Young Sr., and two grandmothers, Margeret Griffin and Jessie Young. Though they mourn his passing, Christopher’s spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

Throughout his life, Christopher found joy in the simple pleasures—hunting, fishing, spending time working on his jeep, and sharing laughs while playing poker with family and friends. His strong determination and unwavering love for all those around him were defining characteristics that will be dearly missed.
