Darald Wayne “Chuck” Morrison, of Quinlan, Texas, passed away the morning of February 18th, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of stories, laughter, and cherished memories. Born on July 30, 1955, in Bonham, Texas, to Ethel Littleton and Ralph Morrison, Chuck was a man who lived life on his own terms, always seeking adventure and good company.
A Marine Corps veteran, Chuck served his country during the Vietnam era. His strength, resilience, and sharp wit made him unforgettable to all who knew him. He never missed an opportunity to share a story, a joke, or a good time with those around him.
Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather Noel Littleton, his brother Donald Hill, and his grandson Carlos Alfredo Alcalá. Though he is gone, his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
He will be deeply missed by his daughter, Christina Iline Morrison, and her husband, Alfredo Alcalá. His granddaughters, Paula Christine Alcalá and her husband, Josue Mares, and Amber Nicole Alcalá and her husband, Marcelino Martinez, will always carry his love and wisdom. His great-grandchildren, Amelia Alcalá, Remi Alcalá, and Samuel Mares, will grow up hearing stories of their great-grandfather’s humor and rebellious nature. Chuck is also survived by his brother, Adrian Hill, and sister, Catherine Gailley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of friends who were lucky enough to know him. His beloved dog, “Baby,” will forever miss his companionship and care.
Chuck was a man who lived life to the fullest, always in search of a good time and a great conversation. His stories, his laughter, and his unwavering love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.
May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he is deeply loved and will never be forgotten.
