Kenneth “Ken” D. Warren passed away from this life peacefully at his home in Quinlan, TX on the
morning of March 18, 2025 after a gradual decline in health.

Ken was born on August 9, 1947, in Salus, AR to Manly and Effie Warren, he was one of eight
children born to them.  He was preceded in death by his parents and all siblings, Hartsell, Arnold,
Pete, Doc, Bobby, Irene and Juanetta. He is also preceded in death by his loving brother-in-law
Rondie Kelley.

During the last months of Ken’s life, he was lucky to have his wife Peggy by his side to assist with his
care.  As well, his stepdaughter Monnie, her husband Stanley, his grand-children Cammy, Casey
and Hope and friends Don Nation and Deryl Douzart played a role in his care giving.

Ken was a Shriner and a Mason.

He was employed with AT&T where he retired after 30 years. During those 30 yrs he was also a cattle
hauler.  After retirement he worked in the demolition business with his close friends Tommy and
Criss.

“Honey” as Peggy would call him was a loving and caring husband who would do whatever it took to
ensure her happiness, to say she was “spoiled” would be an understatement.

He was also a great father and grandfather.

Ken was a man of very few words, however if you got past Peggy, you were in with him.

Ken is survived by his wife of 41yrs Peggy Warren of Quinlan, TX.  his daughter Sherry Vines and her
husband Tom, stepdaughter Monnie Browning and husband Stanley, his grandchildren Cammy
Nation, Casey Nation and wife Hope, Stevie Dodds and husband Jerod and Shelbie Vines.  He is

Dodds and his sister in laws Mary Lou Warren, Sammy Warren and Giffatine Kelley and many

We want to thank you each of for your calls, visits and prayers during these difficult months.  We
