Kenneth Dewayne Weems, born on July 28, 1968, in Desoto, TX, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2025, at his home in Lone Oak, TX. He was a loving husband to his wife, Barbara Weems, and a proud father to his children and stepchildren: Kenny Weems II, Amber Ellis, Alisha Weems, Patrick Brown, Jonathan Brown, Randall Brown and Kassadi Brown. Kenneth also had a special bond with his brother, Larry Weemes, and sister, Gail Bullard.
Kenneth embraced life with an adventurous spirit and a love for the great outdoors. He found joy in riding motorcycles and four-wheelers, often spending his days soaking up the sun at the lake where he loved to swim. Mornings were his favorite time, often spent watching the sunrise while savoring the beauty of nature. He had a serious passion for cars, enjoying the challenge of building and working on them.
A fun-loving soul, Kenneth was always there for his friends and family, ready to lend a hand. He would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need. Kenneth cherished spending time with his dogs, never leaving home without them. He loved family gatherings and created so many memories with his grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Kenneth was an avid shopper, delighted by everything from in-person treasure hunts to browsing marketplace finds. His love of landscaping made his home a beautiful and welcoming place, reflecting his passion for nature and family.
His vibrant personality and zest for life will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Kenneth leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories. His family asks that you remember him fondly, sharing your own moments and stories that celebrate his incredible spirit.
Kenneth was preceded in death by: His mother Era dean Prock, His father Garney (Buddy) Weems, and his sister Glenda Martin.
