Loretta Vaughan, 82, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on November 1, 2019. She was born November 1, 1937 to Joe and Esther Woods in Mt. Vernon, Texas. She met Albert Vaughan at East Texas State University, Commerce, Texas and they married in 1961. She worked for Texas State Welfare office. She was a long-time member of Park Street Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 P.M., November 3, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Johnny Hailes officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
She is survived by sons, Dwayne Vaughan and wife, Holly of Wylie and David Vaughan of Greenville; four grandchildren, Jordan, Zachary, James and Sarah; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, three brothers and two sisters.
