Linda Lou Wright, 71, of Point went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 13, 2019 in Greenville. Funeral services celebrating Linda’s life will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, December 20, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home with Leonard Harrelson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Interment will follow at Hooker Ridge Cemetery.
Linda was born November 14, 1948 in Deport, Texas to the late James Douglas Quine and Geneva Vick Quine. Her family moved to the Houston area where she was raised. On October 17, 1986, Linda married Clyde Weldon Wright, Jr., and they were married for 33 years. Linda was a homemaker and a home health provider.
Linda enjoyed music and loved to sing. She also loved kids and it didn’t matter whose kids they were. Linda was like a mom to her own kid’s friends. She loved her family and enjoyed time spent together having cookouts and on holidays. Linda is preceded is death by her parents, brothers Thomas Luther Quine, Thomas Lee Quine, James Quine, and Billy Ray Quine; sisters Patritca Jannise and Brenda Campbell.
She is loved and will be missed by her husband Clyde and her sidekick great-grandson Creighton Lee Ragsdale; sons James and Mark Smith of Louisiana and Dale Smith of Paris, Texas; daughters Sheila Boyanton of Texas, Peggy Hampton of Oklahoma, and Crystal Suits of Point, Texas; brother Larry Don Quine of Orange, Texas; sisters Billie Roy of Vidor, Texas, Freda Cronon of Big Sandy, Texas, Barbara Contreras of Vidor, Texas and Shirley Royer of Orange, Texas; stepsons Tyson Wright of Bogata, Texas, Chester and Corky Wright of Arkansas; stepdaughters Crystal DePrince and Tonya Wright of Bogata, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
