Jack Lynn Kanaman, age 83, of Campbell, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, June 22, 2020 in Greenville, Texas. A celebration of his life will be held at 3:00p.m. on Sunday, June 28, 2020 at Family Fellowship Church in Greenville, Texas with Pastor Paul Blue officiating. Due to social distancing guidelines, there will be limited seating available.
Jack was born on September 4, 1936 in Frisco, Texas to the late Roy and Mazie Kanaman. He was raised in Kleberg, Texas. He married Nancy McGaughy on May 23, 1958. He worked in commercial construction as a heavy equipment operator. Jack was a rodeo cowboy and enjoyed working on his farm, feeding his cows and fish as well as spending time with his family and playing with his great-granddaughter. Jack was a devoted husband and father and will be remembered as a good hardworking man that always stayed busy. He is preceded in death by his son, Jack Keith Kanaman.; Brothers, James Roy, Roger and Robert Kanaman; and sisters, Jean Kimberlin, Doris Hanis and Katherine Samples.
He is survived and will be missed by his wife of 62 years, Nancy Kanaman of Campbell; His son, Collin and wife Leah Kanaman of Campbell; two daughters, Lola Kanaman of Campbell and Lynn Blue and husband Paul of Greenville; 7 grandchildren, Jackie McMinn and husband Cody, Rae Ann Elliott and husband Brian; Ashley Kanaman, Brooke Blue, Hannah Kanaman, Parker Blue and Cole Burnett; One great grandchild, Kaydence McMinn; several nieces and nephews and an abundance of special friends.
