Wiley Gene Holley, 75, of Greenville, died Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, October 3, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Rev. Kenneth Ballard officiating and Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Interment will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 PM until service time at the church.
Mr. Holley was born in Snyder, Texas on October 11, 1944. He was the son of Wiley Henderson Holley and Wilma Edna Walker Holley. He and Carolyn Irene Self married on November 7, 1964 in Coahoma, Texas. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was a computer analyst for Fina Oil and Chemical and L-3. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Wolfe City, Jaycees in Big Spring, ReAct Unit and a Little League Coach. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Holley; sons, Jim Bob Holley and wife, Stacy and Terry Holley and wife, Libby; brothers, Glen Holley and wife, Sherrel and Gary Holley and wife, Debbie; sister, Jan Jackson and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Zach Holley and wife Joanna, Brayden Holley and Railey Holley; and great-grandchildren, Esther Holley and Asher Holley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley Henderson Holley and Wilma Edna Walker Holley Cashion and a brother Charles Wayne Holley.Pallbearers will be Vance Self, Michael Self, Brayden Holley, Zachary Holley, Jon Holley and Ricky Jackson. Honorary pallbearer will be Railey Holley.The family requests memorials be made to Remember for Me in Greenville, Texas in Mr. Holley’s memory.
