Leland Stanley Young, 88, of Greenville, passed away on October 12, 2020 in Greenville, Texas. A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at Rosemound Cemetery in Commerce, Texas with Mr. Ronnie Young officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Young was born in Ladonia, Texas on March 19, 1932 to Melvin Lee Young and Lela Perkins Young Hammons. He married Julie Klein in Bitburg, Germany on December 21, 1957. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and worked as a Fireman.
He is survived by his brother, Paul N. Young of Ft. Worth; along with one niece, Teresa Nickals of Longmont, CO and two nephews, Ronnie Young and wife, Lorene of Leander, TX and Mark Young of Longmont, CO.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Julie Young on November 3, 2017; his parents, Melvin Young and Lela Young Hammons; and brother, Vernon Young.
