Stanley Wendell Younger, age 67, of Dallas Texas, he was surrounded by his family when he peacefully left this earth to be with his Lord and Savior in Heaven on Friday, May 7, 2021. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday May 14, 2021 at Ingram Funeral home in Quinlan, Texas. Visitation will be held from 11:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. prior to the service.
Stanley was born on July 7, 1953 in Dallas, Texas. He was born to Virgel W. Younger and Doris Jean Wright Younger. He met the love of his life, Sharon Younger and they married on October 24, 1970 in Dallas Texas. They bought their first home in Cedar Hill, Texas in 1977, where they raised their daughters before moving to Tawakoni Lake area 20 years ago. Stanley was employed as a Diesel Mechanic and a supervisor at TXI Cement Company for over 30 years in Midlothian Texas. Stanley also enjoyed spending his time fishing and working on cars and yardwork in his spare time until his passing. He also loved gambling and was a talented craps and poker player. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Michelle Annette Thompson in 2009. Stanley absolutely loved his family, he was a Nascar racing fan and loved to watch it with his family and friends as well as going camping.
Stanley is loved and will be missed by his devoted wife, Sharon Younger of Quinlan; daughter, Angela Nichole Younger-Embree and husband Patrick of Quinlan; grandchildren, Drake and wife Autumn Thompson, Nikki Thompson, Skyler Younger- Embree, and Natsu Younger-Embree; three great grandchildren, Luke, Luna, and Lila; brother, Stephen Cole Younger of Cedar Creek; brother-in-law, Randal York of Point; best friend, Larry Stolz of Quinlan and K9 kid, Chelsey of Quinlan.
