Betty Sue Stone, 83, of Quinlan, passed away on April 12, 2022, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, April 15, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lakeside Memorial Park.
Mrs. Stone was born February 2, 1938, in Delta County, Texas to Thomas Jefferson Cotton and Opal Lee Winchester. She married Sidney E. Stone on January 1, 1955, in Oklahoma. She retired from Dallas Independent School District, where she worked in the Audio/Visual Department. She was a member of Family Fellowship.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Stone and wife, Brenda, Roger Stone and wife, Kathy, and Kenny Stone and wife, Cathy; daughter, Cindy Cothrin and husband, Gary; grandchildren, Ronnie Holcomb, Jan Vasquez, Steven Stone, Krystal Cameron, Kellie Hood, Kyle Stone, Kevin Stone Taylor Stone, and Kevin Cothrin; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
