Joseph “Joe” Green, Jr., 84, of Farmersville, passed away on August 31, 2022, in Van Alstyne, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 4, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dewey Davidson officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Joe was born June 29, 1938, in Millington, Maryland to Joseph S. Green, Sr and Elizabeth Morris. He married Rozell Auburg on May 1, 1964, in Dallas, Texas. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and worked as Farmer.
He is survived by his son, Michael Green and wife, Sandra; daughter, LeAnne Gluntz and husband, Gary; brother, Eddie Green and wife, Connie; grandchildren, Courtney Gaus and husband, Connor, Ashley Orellana and husband, Sam; Casey Green and wife, Alycia, Jordan Green, and Trey Bradshaw; and great-granddaughter, Ava.
He as preceded in death by his wife; parents; and grandson, Trey Bradshaw.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cancer Research.
