Halie Ann Braley, 38, of Commerce, Texas, passed away on January 23, 2023, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 27, 2023, at Old Concord Baptist Church with Rev. Mike Sanders officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. until service time at the church. The interment will be in Old Concord Cemetery.

Halie was born May 6, 1984, in Garland, Texas, to Stephen Hazelip and Jan Bond Hazelip. She was a member of Crossroads Assembly of God Church.

Halie was always active in all sports growing up and played one year of college softball. She enjoyed playing softball and kickball with her church group in recent years and taking the kids to church camp. Even through some struggles, Halie knew the Lord, Jesus Christ as her Savior.

If you knew Halie, you knew she could do anything. Academics, sports, remodeling a house, building a fence, raising farm animals, deer, and yes, even some hog hunting! She wasn’t afraid of much because she knew she was strong, brave, and courageous.

She is survived by her children who were the light of her world- son, Tripp Braley; daughter, Tynslie Braley; parents, Stephen and Jan Hazelip; brother, Heath Hazelip and wife, Jen; grandmothers, Margie Hazelip and Lela Bond; and nieces, Stella Hazelip and Jolene Hazelip.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Bill Hazelip and Tommie Bond, and her great-grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Matt Morrow, Jeff Moulder, Zac Moulder, Mike Baldwin, Ryan Nerwich, and Koltyn Hazelip.
