Alvis Elton Watts, 82, of Greenville, passed away on April 9, 2022, at his residence. A memorial service will be held at Salem Cemetery in Alba, Texas on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Watts was born October 11, 1939, in Hopkins County, Texas to Henry Arthur Watts and Fannie Hutchins. He married Pamela Oneita Scott on May 20, 1963, in Irving, Texas. He retired from Raytheon.
He is survived by his wife, Pamela Watts; son, John Watts; daughters, Terri Leifeste and husband, Alvin and Wanda Shuler; grandchildren, Juddsen and wife, Karri “Karen” McCreary, Sarah and husband, Branden Wilkins, Jason McFarlin and Kelli Taylor, Melissa McFarlin and Mike Boren, and Jamie Shuler and Derris Carr; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Anna.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chelly Watts, his parents, and three brothers, James, Alford, and Buford.
