My sweet Mom, Anna Faye Pickens, 85, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 10:15 a.m., Friday, September 3, 2021. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at the chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
She was known as Mom, Nonnie and Aunt Ann. She always had a smile on her face! She made us all laugh with her fun and crazy personality. She was the best mom and grandma I could’ve ever dreamed of having for myself and my children. She was always there to listen to me and there for us. We going to miss her so much.
Ann was born August 12, 1936 in Campbell, Texas to Egbert Clifton and Lola Estelle Taylor Reynolds. She married Charles Ray Pickens on February 26, 1960 in Greenville, Texas. Together they built the Le Château apartments in 1968. They made everyone living there feel like family.
Ann is survived by her daughter, Sheri Pickens Terrien and husband, Jeff Chaponick; grandchildren, Alex Terrien, Taylor Terrien and Aren Terrien.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, three sisters and one brother.
