Arline Elizabeth (Frank) Smith, also known as “Neenee” and “Meme” to her loving family , of Greenville passed away peacefully on August 24, 2023 at the age of 71. She was born on September 11, 1951 to Arlin and Claudean (Young) Frank in Alamosa, Colorado.
Arline loved the Lord and was a member of the body of Christ. She enjoyed gardening and will be remembered for her homemade breads and desserts. Arline was a mom, sister in Christ and a friend to her family and children. She will always be remembered for being very trustworthy.
Arline and her loving husband, Dana Smith, were together for 39 years and had two children: Jason Hardee and Rebecca Johnson and Eric; grandchildren, Erica Johnson, Joshua Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson; one great grand daughter on the way, Aurelia Mendez-Johnson; siblings, David Frank, Quinton Frank and Darla, Karol Moody and Michael; nieces and nephews, Rachel Middleton and Raymond, Scott Monroe and Sharon, David Morrison, Billy Morrison, Keith Pierce, Diane Wyatt and Jesse, LaVonne Nace, April Lawson, Leonard Frank, Justin Wimsett and numerous great nieces and nephews along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Arline was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Robyn; and sister, Sherry.
Funeral services will be held at LYNCH Funeral Service, Greenville Chapel, on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at 4:00 pm with the visitation following and going until 7:00pm. There will be a committal service at 11:00am on Friday, September 1, 2023 at Roselawn Cemetery in Denton, Texas.
