Barry Lenzel Paris, 77, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Greenville, Texas, passed away on September 26, 2019 in McKinney. Funeral services will be 2 P.M., Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Paris and Rev. Roy Youngblood officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery. Visitation will be 12 Noon until service time. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Paris was born March 28, 1942 in Greenville, Texas to Edward Lenzel Paris and Edna May Turney. He married Saundra McCaslin on August 4, 1961 in Leonard, Texas. He served as the Police Chief for the City of Greenville. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenville, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Saundra Paris; son, James Paris and wife, Colette; daughters, Jena Lambert and husband, Heath and Jessica Chambers and husband, John; brothers, Larry Paris and Ricky Paris; sister, Linda Paris; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jerry Paris.
