Bette Gilbert Boswell, 86, Quinlan, passed away August 25, 2019, at her home.
She was born October 26, 1932, in Gran Quivira, New Mexico, to Felix Daniel & Mildred Minerva Williams Gilbert. She had lived in Hunt County for the last 41 years. She retired as an aviation electrician and enjoyed her Friday morning Desperados Bowling League.
Bette was preceded in death by her parents; husband, W.L. “Mickey” Boswell; daughter, Gay Potts; son, Kerry Moore; grandson, Luke Dawson; granddaughter, Emily Moore; four brothers; and one sister.
Survivors include her three daughters, Pamela Dawson of Alvarado, Misty Davis of Quinlan and Penny Simms of Quinlan; two brothers, Ross Castle of Montgomery City, MO and Loyde Castle of Lubbock; two sisters, Geneva Hunter of Morton and Jeanette Shoemaker of Pahrump, Nevada; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be scheduled for a later date.
