Funeral service for Betty Elizabeth (McGlothen) Pendergraft, age 81, of Hawk Cove will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 30, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 P.M. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Quinlan Funeral Home. Mrs. Pendergraft passed away on Monday, October 25, 2021 in Dallas.
Betty was born August 23, 1940 in Paris, Texas to William G. and Gladys McGlothen. She married Nathaniel Pendergraft in Paris in 1957. She had been a radio show host and she enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with family.
She is survived by her sons, Nathaniel Pendergraft, Jr. of Wills Point, Jerry Pendergraft and wife, Jewell of Wills Point; grandsons, A.J., Dustin, Jeremy, J.J., Levi, Randy, and Kenneth Pendergraft; granddaughter, Patricia Pendergraft; sisters, Sue Fields, and Linda Alexander; great-grandchildren, Frankie, Hayden, and Hailey Pendergraft, Delila Bynum, Isaiah Huffman; and lots of nephews, nieces, cousins, and great grandbabies.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and husband; son, Allan Pendergraft; and sister, Jean Hines.
