Betty Jean Davies, 90, of Lone Oak, passed away on June 29, 2019 in Greenville. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., July 3, 2019 at Prairie Valley Baptist Church with Bro. Royce Litchfield officiating. Burial will be in Prairie Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davies was born on March 28, 1929 in Lone Oak, Texas to Bob Dooley and Carrie Mackey Dooley. She married Billy Clyde Davies on June 21, 1957 in Prairie Valley Community. She was a homemaker and a member of Prairie Valley Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Mark Davies and wife, Leanette Davies; granddaughter, Kelli Davies; nieces and nephews, Sissy and Bart Sherer, Carrie Hartline, Chance Sherer and wife, Stephanie, Curtis Sherer and wife, Katie and Newt Hartline and wife, Kathleen; along with several other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, twin, Bobbie Harris, sister, Tula Douglas, brothers, Martin Dooley, RT Dooley and Ben Dooley.

Pallbearers will be Bart Sherer, Chance Sherer, Curtis Sherer, Rudy Douglas, Terry Dooley, Gary Dooley, Ray Dooley and Newt Hartline.
