Betty Roddy, 89, of Greenville passed away September 30, 2020. She was born June 18, 1931 in Dallas to Alvin and Gladys Mankin. Betty Roddy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She retired from E-Systems after 26 years of service. After retiring, she and her husband, James, enjoyed traveling in their travel trailer. They were proud to have visited all 50 states. They were members of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and in previous years were active at Park Street Baptist Church where for several years Betty taught a ladies Sunday School class. She is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, James; by her sons, Neil Roddy and Jim Roddy (Jo); by his sister, Drucilla East (Nathan); grandchildren, Brent Roddy (Amber), Eric Roddy (Keeton), Leslie Roddy, Stacy McCarthy (Russell) and Casey Starr (Stephen) as well as six great-grandchildren.
