Betty Zane (Reeves) Raney, 86, of Greenville, TX passed away on December 4, 2021, peacefully with her daughter by her side. Betty was born on April 17, 1935, to Claude Wilton “C.W.” and Ina Belle (Williams) Reeves.
Betty loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Southside Church of Christ. She loved and cherished her family and enjoyed spending time with them. In her free time, she could be found crocheting, working on puzzles, cooking, or traveling. She lived a full and well-rounded life. She will be deeply missed.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Debra McCraw; granddaughters, Tara McManus, Rachel McCraw; great grandsons, Tristan Gonzalez, Julian Limas, Jonathan Limas; siblings, J.W. Reeves, Ina Mae Prechtl, Buddy Reeves, Patsy Reeves, Linda Deaton; numerous nieces and nephews; along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Raney; son, Robbie Raney; brother, Billy Charles Reeves; sister, Peggy Holley.
Betty leaves lasting and wonderful memories for her family and friends.
Service will be Thursday, December 9, 2021, at 1:00 PM with Mr. Keith Lambert officiating in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Lynch Memorial Park located on the same premises.
