Bill Rice, age 83, of Quinlan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, September 16, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, September 23, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Quinlan with Pastor Josh Blakley officiating. The visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Billy Rice was born on August 28, 1941, in Portland, Arkansas to Mr. Carl Thomas Rice and Emma Elizabeth Elton Rice. Bill felt blessed to have been raised on a farm. He was a hard worker with a strong work ethic. He loved his red Chevy and his lawn tractor. He attended Draughton Business School in Little Rock. He married Stacey Lynn Duncan in Dallas on February 14, 1986. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Quinlan. He loved his Lord and his church family. He was a devoted husband and loving father, but beautiful grandbabies were the light of his life. He was most at peace just being at home with his wife, watching old westerns or his favorite football team, the Arkansas Razorbacks.

He is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his wife, Stacey Duncan Rice of Quinlan; son, Christopher Thomas Rice and wife Hannah of Fort Worth; daughters, Vanessa Holmes of Seven Points; Stephanie Romero and husband Anthony of Quinlan, and Monica Silva of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Kali, Kristin, Erika, Duncan, Phineas, Oliver, and Louis; and great grandchild, Koah Ortega. He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl and sister, Judy.
