Billy Allen Orum, 79, of Quinlan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday December 4, 2019 in Quinlan. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 9, 2019 at Ingram Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Neilsen officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Cemetery near Terrell. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
Billy was born and raised on December 6, 1939 in Bennington, Oklahoma. He is the son of the late Wayne and Jewel Kathleen Orum. Billy married Donna Jane Dean on January 5, 1979 and they made their home in Quinlan. He was a truck driver for 30+ years and he had his own service station. Billy loved animals, especially dogs and chickens. His family and the time they spent together was the most important thing in his life. Billy is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Jewel Kathleen Orum, wife Donna, son Billy, Brothers Jack Wayne, Walter, Paul, sister June Gardner.
He is loved and will be missed by daughters Angela and Husband Dale Sikorsky of Forney, Amanda and Paul Howard of Quinlan, Elizabeth Orum of Sheridan, Wyoming, brother Don and Cathy Orum of Wolfe City, sisters Jane and Tom Hubert of Greenville, Velda Duncan of Sherman. as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
