Bobbie Gene Eppler, 96, of Greenville, passed away on February 28, 2022, in Greenville, Texas. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M., March 4, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Morgan officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. The private interment will be in Forest Park Cemetery.
Mr. Eppler was born June 27, 1925, in Shay, Oklahoma to William Clark Eppler and Myrtle Odell. He married Jane Pauline Minter on November 23, 1954, in Madill, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during WWII and in the United States Army Air Corps and the United States Air Force in Korea. After his service, he worked for LTV, E-Systems, and Raytheon. He was a member of Highland Terrace Baptist Church and a past member of Park Street Baptist Church.
He is survived by his sons, Roger Eppler and wife, Amy of Greenville, and David Eppler and wife, Tracye of McKinney; grandchildren, Alexandria Eppler of McKinney and Samuel and wife, Samantha Eppler of Rowlett; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jane, daughter, Linda, parents, and six brothers and sisters.
