Bobby D. Brooks 77, Lifetime resident of Greenville Tx, passed away in his home surrounded by his family on the morning of Tuesday April 27, 2021. A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 30, 2021 at Highland Terrace Baptist Church with Dr. Chet Haney officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Bobby was a Christian, an ordained deacon, and an active member of Highland Terrace Baptist

Church. Bobby was born May 19, 1943 to Raymond & Faye Brooks.

Bobby attended Greenville Schools and graduated from GHS CLASS of 1961. After graduation

attended ETSU in Commerce. Bobby married Linda Frost on June 25,1966 at Park St Baptist Church. Bobby was drafted for the Vietnam War December 1966. He served in the US ARMY.

While there received numerous awards and honors, including 3 BRONZE STARS.

Bronze Stars: The Bronze Star Medal is a United States

Armed Forces decoration awarded to members of the United

States Armed Forces for either heroic achievement, heroic

service, meritorious achievement, or meritorious service in a

combat zone.

Bobby returned to Greenville after Vietnam and worked as an Outside Salesman for 50 years. At

Greenville Supply Co in Greenville TX and then Green Supply in Frisco Tx.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Linda Brooks of 54 years.

Bobby & Linda have two children, a daughter Amy Brooks Robles & (George), and son

Aaron Brooks & (Michelle).

Bobby was blessed with five grandchildren: Brooks Robles, Hunter Smith, Sophie Robles,

Garrett Brooks, and Rance Robles, Sister: Luanne Goin (Carl)

Nephews: Allen Goin (Patti), Howard Brooks (Kathy), and Larry Goin(Jennifer).

And Bobby’s beloved Molly B.

Bobby is preceded in death by: His Parents, (Brother) George Brooks, (Sister-in-Law) Bonnie

Brooks, (Father-in-law) W.A.(Jack) Frost, and (Mother-in-Law) Dorothy (Dottie) Frost.
