Brenda Elaine Morrison, 74, passed away on December 3, 2020, at the Hunt County Regional Medical Center. She was born October 23, 1946 in Leonard, Texas to Druman and Lula Mae Jinkins.
Brenda was a dedicated wife and mother. She was blessed to be married to her best friend and to the love of her life. She treasured her family and every moment she spent with them. She especially loved her role as Mamaw. She had a kind heart, loved to laugh, loved the Lord and attending church. And she is known for her chocolate pies.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Derl Morrison of 37 years; sister, Shirley Ralston; daughters, Sherri Ware Felkel, Stacey Ware Simpson and husband, Lance; son, Travis Morrison; daughters, Elinka Harper and husband, Rick and Terri Surgent and husband, John.
Devoted Mamaw to eleven grandchildren, Chase Stokes and wife, Jessica, Kaylie Karagias and husband, Kevin, Kelsie Simpson, Courtney Morrison, Zach Morrison, Amanda Dickey, Karly Harper, Danny Harper, Brandi Bice, Matthew Bice and Taylor Merchant; plus fourteen great-grandchildren and her many nephews and nieces. All of these she deeply loved.
Please join us celebrating her life Monday morning December 7, 2020, 10:00 A.M. at Crossroads Church, 1501 E. Joe Ramsey Blvd., Greenville, Texas. Visitation will be held at 2:00 P.M. – 5:00 P.M. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home on Sunday, December 6, 2020. Burial will be in Brigham Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Chase Stokes, Bryon Fugitt, Zach Morrison, David Morrison, Charles Adams and Kevin Karagias.
