Buck “Earl” Brockway, 77, of Greenville, formerly of Royse City, passed away on November 7, 2021 at the Hunt Regional Medical Center.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Caney Cemetery with Pastor Rance Moore officiating.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.

Buck was born November 30, 1943 to Willie and Una Izora Miles Brockway in Royse City, Texas.  He married Glenda Arrington on November 30, 1963 in Greenville, Texas.  She preceded him in death.  He later married Renee Stephenson on December 9, 1995 in Greenville.  He worked for the Hunt County Corrections office and was of the Christian faith.  Buck was an outstanding boxer and football star for Royse City Bulldogs in the class of 1961- 1963, along with his brothers as #13.

He is survived by his wife, Renee “Nay Nay” Brockway; children, Tracy Brockway and wife, Minhae, Tonyia Dobmeyer and husband, John, Tara Green and husband, Stan, Jeff Sanders, Carisa Sanders, Shawn Wilkerson, Amy Wilkerson; brother, Ted Brockway and wife, Sheila; sister, Charlsie Taylor; grandchildren, Michael Buck Brockway, Michelle Davis, Tracy Brockway, II, Trixie Brockway, Elise Brockway, Jeff Brockway, Josh Hamilton, Angel Carrillo, Aaron Scott Mullins, Cody Ryan Elmore, John M. Dobmeyer, Michael Blake Comer, Matthew Bryan Comer, “Grasshopper” Allyson Norris and 16 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Glenda; daughter, Treva Brockway; brothers, Billy Brockway, Wendell Brockway, Jeff Brockway, Johnny Ray Brockway and twin brother, Buster Brockway; sisters, Helen Sangster, Shirley Smart and Darlene Melton.

Pallbearers will be Tracy Brockway, II, Andrew Carrillo, Anthony Carrillo, Blake Comer, Cody Elmore and Josh Hamilton.
