Charles “Charlie” Edward Phillips, 84, of Fort Worth, formally of Caddo Mills, passed away on July 9, 2024. He was born on September 29, 1939 in Cash, TX to Charles W. and Weta Mae Phillips.
Charlie graduated from Caddo Mills High School in 1957 and went on to attend East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas. He had a fulfilling career and retired from Vought Corporation. Charlie was a beloved member of the community and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Charlie is survived by his son, Charles Douglas Phillips and wife Connae of Springtown; daughter, Elena Ciraolo of Forney; sisters: Sandra Gail Phillips Hooten of Caddo Mills, Diana Karen Phillips Kuhns of Little Elm; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Phillips; parents, C.W. and Weda Phillips; sister Carrolyn Beck; and brother Larry Phillips.
There will be a funeral service held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Lynch Funeral Home Chapel in Caddo Mills. Visitation will be one hour prior at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at IOOF Cemetery in Caddo Mills. Pastor Steven Richardson will be presiding.
