Charles Victor Cole, 92, passed away on August 20, 2020 in Greenville. He was born on January 18, 1928 in Diana, Texas to Henry Ray and Mary Pink (Caudle) Cole.
Charles proudly served his country in the US Army during World War II. He served his community by being a member of the Masons. He was a caring man who always saw the good in people, and will be remembered for unselfishly finding ways to help others. His hobbies included going fishing, playing card games and marbles. Charles also enjoyed working at Thousand Trails RV Campground.
Charles is survived by his son, Ken Cole; niece, Shirley Campbell; cousin Silvia Barker Schmitt; nephew, Lawrence Getso. Very close friends Jim and Ramona Anderson, Lisa Jones, Shirley and Linney.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Virginia and his parents.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Caddo Mills, Texas with Pastor Jason Rolen officiating. A Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at LYNCH Funeral Home in Caddo Mills, Texas.
