Charles Wayne King, 69, of Greenville, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, September 9, 2021. He was born to Jimmie J. (Myers) and Henry E. King on November 23, 1951, in Midland, Texas.

Charles was better known as Charlie to his friends and family. He retired from Chapparal Steel in Midlothian where he worked in the steel mills. He was also a devoted member of Harvest Bible Church. Charlie lived to hunt, fish, and be in the great outdoors with his friends. Charlie and his wife Lisa also loved to attend Renaissance Festivals.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 20 ½ years, Lisa King. Stepson: Michael Stuart (Natalie), Daughters: Cindy Bowers (Kevin), Nicole Hartman, and Rebecca King. Stepdaughter: Melissa Baker (Antonio). Grandchildren: Mikayla Stuart, Jayden Stuart, Hannah Bowers, Jayla Baker, Chase Baker, Chloe Hartman, Hayden Bowers, McKenna Stuart, and Maleigh Stuart. Brother: Shane King. Sister: Brenda Moore (Eddie). Numerous nieces and nephews, special friends: John Roghair and Jose Villanueva, along with a host of loving relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, and favorite dog JR.

There will be a visitation from 1-2:00PM on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Lynch Funeral Service in Greenville, Texas. Followed by a service at 2:00PM also in the Lynch Funeral Chapel led by Brother Brad Strand.
