Charley Tarrant, 67, of Greenville, passed away on Thursday, June 13, 2019 in McKinney. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tarrant officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cumby Cemetery.
Mr. Tarrant was born August 1, 1951 in White Settlement, Texas to Morris Tarrant and Mary Hood. He married Patti Goates on June 8, 1996 in Greenville, Texas. He retired from L-3 as a Program Manager after 38 years, where he worked with the United States Air Force, being on call 24/7 for the last 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Tarrant; son, Josh Craven; daughter, Shelly Adams; sisters, Sue Recer and Sarah Middleton; nephew, Morris Recer; niece, Denise Mason; grandchildren, Will Craven, Angel Gallamore, and Christian Gallamore.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Roy Recer.
Pallbearers will be Gil Pier, Mark Garner, Wayne Sickels, Danny Eoff, Greg Pillote and Joe DeGarso.
