Claude left this earth on April 10, 2020 to be with his heavenly father. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Wade Cemetery in Quinlan, Texas with Dr. James Ralson officiating. Services are under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home.
He was born August 27, 1934 in Hunt County, Texas to Claude W. and Bertie Langford Pippin.
Claude loved to coon hunt and always had a good hunting dog and mule. He worked for Lone Star Gas for 21 years. He then became Chief of Police in Quinlan, Chief Deputy with Hunt County Sheriffs Office and he was the founder of Pippin Propane.
Claude is survived by his wife, Juanita Pippin; brother, Vernon Pippin and wife, Patricia; sister, Brenda Schickedaz and husband, Roy; his daughter, Carol Savage; granddaughter, Alexis Wright; grandson, Jimmy Savage; great-grandchildren, David James, Heather, Michelle, and Faith Wright.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Louise Pippin, his sister, Margie and husband, Claude Townsend.
