Crystal Crain Andrews, 96, passed away on June 2, 2020. Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, June 5, 2020 at East Mount Cemetery with Mr. Jim Crain (her nephew) officiating. Coker-Mathews Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be 10:00 A.M., to 4:00 P.M., Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the funeral home.

Crystal was born May 1st, 1924 in Elm Springs, Arkansas to A.E. Crain & Elsie Duncan Crain.  She married Robert L. Andrews on May 1st, 1954 at the 10th & Rockford church of Christ in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  She was a member of the Creekside church of Christ.  She was a homemaker who volunteered at her children’s schools in Tulsa and Fort Worth.

She is survived by sons Jim (Melinda) of Richardson, Philip of Dallas and daughter Carolyn Lewis (David) of Fort Worth, four grandsons: Christopher Andrews, Patrick Lewis (Danielle), Stuart Lewis (Courtney) and William Andrews, 4 great grandchildren: Hailey, Nathan, Matthew and Harper, 6 nieces and 4 nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, of sixty-five years, five brothers, two sisters, one infant sister, three nephews and three nieces. 

She was a great mom.  She loved flowers.  Many times she had to handle 3 challenging kids by herself when dad traveled to California or Florida for week long trips. She was the baby of her family and her oldest brother was 20 years older.  We will miss her very much. 

Honorary pallbearers will be David Lewis, Christopher Andrews, Stuart Lewis, Tom Davis, Larry Nations, Frank Morgan, Wayne Wallace, Farrell Nalls, Jim Hodo, Gary Pendergrass, Steve Pryce and Mark Wilhelm.

We are requesting that you limit the size of the gathering during the viewing due to concerns regarding the current health crisis. Please feel free to come and pay your respects but limit your contact with others as per recommended guidelines from the CDC.
