Curtis “Dude” Warren, known as “Pepaw” to his grandchildren, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 30, 1953 in Kaufman, Texas.
Dude loved life and led an active one, spending his free time fishing, hunting, golfing. He was an avid collector, especially old coins and enjoyed travelling the countryside, RVing and motorcycling, with his wife and a close group of friends. Finally, we can’t forget Dude’s love for watching the Rodeo and bull riding.
Dude is survived by, his loving wife of thirty-two years, Sue, children; Wesley Warren and Heather, and Clayton Warren, grandchildren; Blaine Hayden, Emma Warren and Caden Warren, siblings; Craig Warren and Vicki, Karen Heckman and Don, four nieces and nephews; Desiree, Brad, Amanda and Cody, and a long list of loving relatives and friends.
Dude was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Deborah Arterbury.
There will be a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2022 in the Lynch Funeral Service Chapel in Greenville, Texas, officiated by dear and special friend, Steve Welborn.
