Curtis Leverl McMennamy Jr., age 65, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on January 23, 2025. He was born on October 20, 1959, in Dallas County, Texas, to Curtis Leverl McMennamy Sr. and Doris Nell (Clark) Jones.

Curtis worked in maintenance for hotels and rental properties throughout his life, bringing his strong work ethic and dedication to everything he did. His family remember him as a doting grandpa and a force to be reckoned with. He was also a loyal, strong individual with a personality that left an impression on everyone he met.

In 2023, Curtis was baptized by his own son at Prairie Valley Baptist Church in Campbell, Texas, where he remained an active and faithful member. His love for family and devotion to his faith were the cornerstones of his life.

Curtis was a passionate lover of music, particularly the works of Neal Young, James Taylor, Van Morrison, and George Jones. His deep appreciation for music was just one of the many things that defined him.

He is survived by his son, Curtis Leverl McMennamy III and wife, April; daughter, Hollie King; grandchildren, Emma McMennamy, Cash McMennamy, Ashley King, Amberli King, and McKenzie King. Curtis is preceded in death by his parents.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
