U.S. Veteran

Dale L. Zolnai, age 84, of Greenville, Texas, passed away on March 5, 2025 at his ranch with his loving wife, Barbara, and his dog Buddy at his side. At an early age, he loved the outdoors and horses, he learned to fly an aircraft at age fifteen.  He served in the US. Airforce in SAC-KC-135 and B-52 aircraft as a crew member.

He was a Baptist, 32-degree mason 63 plus years, Hella Tempel, Ambassador GRV, Legionnaire, great supporter and member of Texas Rangers and other law enforcement agencies, worked at “E” Systems for years, being interviewed as a federal agent serving many years for various government agencies, and flying on Airforce One as a secret service agent.

He is survived by his loving wife Barbara; son, Chris Zolnai,; Stepdaughter Misty Walding and Brian; and his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother Richard Zolnai; and his half-brothers Bob and David.

Dale is preceded in death by his son James Zolnai.

LYNCH Funeral Service will oversee arrangements. A Hunt County Honor Guard Memorial will be held at a later date.
