Danny Forson, 90, of Greenville, passed away January 1, 2022, in Dallas, Texas at Vitas Hospice Center. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Thursday, January 6, 2022, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home with Donny & Ryan Forson officiating. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M., until service time, at Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas Texas.
Danny was born August 16, 1931, in Maud, Oklahoma to A.T. Forson and Juna Matthews. He married his love Nadine White, October 6, 1951, in Seminole, Oklahoma. From this union, he became a devoted father to two children.
After serving four years in the United States Navy, he began his career as a Corporate Executive at Raytheon. He was an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. He supervised the building of Iglesia Bautista Hispana Ridgecrest which loved. Danny enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his wife, kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids.
He is survived by his sister, Margaret Wootten; children, Douglas Forson, and Donny and Tamra Forson; grandchildren; Ryan and Caroline Forson, Gabe and Ragan Salinas, Riley and Josie Forson & Ruthie Forson; seven great-grandchildren; Kase Salinas, Kyler Salinas, Lynleigh Salinas, Kobey Salinas, Wesley Forson, Hayes Forson, & Harvie Forson; all whom he cherished.
He was preceded in death by his brother, David Forson; wife; and both his parents.
