Darell Lee Pearson, age 82, of Nevada, Texas passed away on August 9, 2022.
Darell was born June 27, 1941 to Ica Hughes and Doyle Pearson. He spent 49 years married to the love of his life, Carolyn and was a Senior Plumbing Designer and Consulting Engineer for Herman Blum. Known as the “Neighborhood Grandpa”, Darell could be found outdoors spending his time doing the things that he loved with his loving wife and children, such as; fishing, dirt track racing, the rodeo, and sitting on the porch waving to the neighbors.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn, sons; Mathew Moody and Windi, Bart Pearson, and Sam Pearson and Jessi, nine grandchildren; Elijah, Jedidiah, Micheala, Bradley, James, Travis, Dalton, Ryley, and Britan, eight great grandchildren; Katlyn, Abby, Sara, Michael, Lilly, Anna, Coulson and Leo, one niece, one nephew, an aunt: Naomi Kenedy and Jack, numerous great nieces and nephews, along with a host of loving relatives and friends.
Darell was preceded in death by his parents, brother; Dewayne Pearson, and his three adored pets; Flash, Roco and Chester.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 15, 2022 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Lynch Funeral Service.
Funeral Service to be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at Lynch Funeral Service with internment at Josephine Cemetery to follow.
