Daren Wayne Hopper, 52, a resident of Rockwall, Texas passed away peacefully at his home on July 12, 2019. 

Daren was born to his parents Eugene and Carol in Mitchell, South Dakota on March 15, 1967. 

He loved to BBQ and grill. His passion for this grew into three amazing restaurants over the course of his life. 

His passion for basketball in high school became a love of a lifetime for the sport. He loved Texas Tech, you could find him in front of a big screen TV enjoying these games and cheering on his team to victory. 

He loved to sing and had the voice of an angel!  He loved to karaoke, and anytime one of the bands would let him sing he was the first to jump on stage and lead the show.  He was fun and vibrant and the life of the party. 

Daren loved everyone and didn’t know a stranger.  He never held a grudge.  He was a kind, humble, and forgiving man.  He would always say “Let it go Lewey. “

Daren loved his wife, their girls, and his grandbabies with all of his heart!  All of his family and friends meant the world to him.

Daren was preceded in death by his mother and father.  Daren is survived by his spouse, Casandra Cothran of Rockwall, Texas.  His beautiful, loving daughters Jessica, Lexi, and Maci. Son in law Daniel Perez.  His stepdaughters, Mallory and Madison.  His grandchildren Tyson, Cara, and Grayson.  Sister, Stacey Leonard and husband, Steve of Rowlett, Texas. Mark and Kristen Hopper of Dallas, Texas and nephew Kaden Hopper, Darcey Hopper of Dallas, Texas, Danielle McKee of McCamey, Texas and his nephews, Coltin Neumann, and Micheal Brian Hosch, aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, extended family and many friends!

Daren will be missed by all!
